Winning Eleven 9 boasts of new animations, new clubs and leagues, a refined Master League, and for the first time, an online play on Xbox and PlayStation 2. It allows players to take one’s favorite team online and prove the skills by progressing through the online divisional ranking system.
For a more competitive play, Winning Eleven 9 features new international leagues, such as the Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, and Dutch Eredivisie, as well as additional club teams, like Chelsea, Arsenal, Rangers, Celtic, FC Kopenhagen, Dynamo Kiev, and more.
The new online mode is the biggest enhancement to the features for the PS2, Xbox and PC iterations. Winning Eleven 8 was online in Europe last year, but the online modes got pulled out of the game before it got to North America, which is not the case this year. Another exciting mode addition is the memorial match mode where users can save their favorite games, including the winning points and statistics, making it easier to show them off later for personal bragging rights.
